Tonight was the first night I've ever competed in a poetry slam. I sucked...at first. My performance of the first piece...which is the first of the poems in the last entry was way off...it stank pure and simple...but for some reason they gave me high scores anyway. They must have liked the poem itself a lot. The new name of this piece is "Dragon Piss" by the way. On my second performance I was in good form if too angry...I seemed to get a lower score from some, I think they caught on to how cheesy it was (this is "Liber AL Sepher A....well you know the rest")
Raymond and I couldn't figure out what we wanted to do afterward...so we just came to Norman. I think that Tapestry (WP co-host) and Miranda (one of Jen's friends and a sweet, sweet lady) are together, although I'm not quite sure of the extent of their relationship...but I hope it's a good thing. They both deserve quite a bit of happiness in thier lives. I have to admit that I'm a bit jealous, and that it's kind of something I never saw coming...but that's the way it usually is.
