In dreams
The world comes to me as
A tiny exqusitely wrapped box
Complete with shiney silver wrapping paper
And a bow of golden ribbon
And as I stare at the package
Fear hits me on the base of the skull
Like a cheesy Hollywood villian
Looking to knock me out
Fear of undoing
What someone else worked so hard on
Fear that what I'll find
Won't be as good
As the wrapping suggests
And like most things in this life
Be ultimately disapointing
