Host Old New Book Links Who? Mail
Work....

Well, I've added new links to my links page and briefly added people to my favorites list. It's not much, but it's a start. Still searching for something new to write about that I haven't covered a hundred-thousand times. Don't want to write poems about writer's block, as those generally suck. I could delve into more people that I used to know, but my few attempts at these types of poems have been lackluster at best.

There are a lot of random people at the office today, family of someone or other that work here. It bothers me, mainly because I don't like relatives to visit me at work, ever. So much so that I don't even like for friends to come see me at work, because they try to talk to me and it distracts from my job. There are times to visit with people, and none of them are at work. You might think, "but isn't what you are doing right now a distraction?" Yes, for most people it would be, but I can click over to my workscreen the second my radio beeps and take care of a tech for as long as it takes and then come back to this anytime it slows down again. People don't deal with delays as well as text does. That's also another reason I have a hard time writing poetry at work. It takes getting into a certain frame of mind to write anything that personal, and having to drop it at a moments notice to take care of something takes me out of that, "zone", if you will. Having to switch between frames of reference is difficult, and even more so when there are time constraints involved. That's why a lot of the poetic updates I've made from the office were either completely written or mostly already written and I finally found the piece of it I had previously been missing. I hope that this makes some sort of sense to you. I'm having a hard time phrasing things at the moment. Somethings don't translate as well from your head to text. Enough of this for now, maybe I'll have something better later, but don't hold your breath, I have a long day ahead of me.
