The world is hiding
Beneath its covers
While I walk around
Trying to make sense
Of humanity
How such diverse hypocracy
Exists in the sef-styled enlightened
(This includes me
By the way)
Why someone, somewhere
Doesn't just call the whole thing
A bad experament
Incinerating us like disobedient anthrax
But then I realize
That this is exactly why
We have weapons of mass destruction
If in fact we are some
Disasterously botched chemical afterthought
We will send ourselves dancing into
The flames of oblivion
A fearful safety device
A global kill switch
Shutting our own systems down
