I just realized that I haven't made this announcement on d-land yet (not that it matters to most of you, since you already read it on LJ). This year's poetry slam team representing Oklahoma City consists of:

Kosher
Tapestry
and me.
Funny thing though, I thought I hadn't made the team. My scores at finals were pretty atrocious. But then again, so were everyone else's.
Dad had to have open-heart sugery, but it went off about as perfectly as it could have. He has to keep from using his right arm much, but other then that, he's a lot better. Hopefully, he will keep taking his meds and we won't have to go through this crap again.
I think my eyesight is quickly getting worse. I'm actually kind of worried about going blind before I get much older, if I get much older.
I wish I had some new poetry for you, but I don't write as much as I used to, perhaps this slump will end soon though, and I can get back to being a very prolific, if crappy poet.
