I was in a service plaza on the Ohio Turnpike when I heard Frank Sinatra's cover of "The Lady Is A Tramp" for the first time. If you've never heard it, it is the most melancholy, mornful thing I've ever heard out of Old Blue Eyes. He took this song, which is a celebration of life and freedom, and turned it into a dirge. One has to wonder if there is a story behind this...~M
