2003-10-30

So, um, I won the first slam of the season at Galileo last night. I wish I could post the poem that won it for me, but I made a vow to myself when I wrote it that it would only appear (at least at first) in Book 2. Perhaps a few months after the release of my books (which is looking like next year), I'll put it up here. It really suprised most people, including myself, since I wrote it last week, had never performed it, and memorized it within two hours before the reading.
